How to clean a gas grill

If you forgot to clean the drip pan at the end of last grilling season, remove it now and clean it. Remove grill grates and check if anything stuck in your fire burners, especially spiders and their net. If you found out anything stuck, remove them carefully with a pin or toothpick.

Check the ignitor: You should hear a click click sound when you push the button and a fire spark shall be seen. If not, change your battery. At last, on-tube your propane tank, open the valve and fire up the grill, then wipe your grill grates and oiling them.

It's really important to check anywhere with gas through might be stuck.

If you smell the gas, turn off everything, run some soapy water along the gas line and connections, then turn the propane on, once you see bubbles form, you know there’s a leak, and you either need to tighten the connection or replace the line.
